AsiaInfo Services 02-18-2005 Chinese Firms Enter Europe's 3G Equipment Making Sector BEIJING, Feb 18, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- At the third global 3G annual meeting held in France, Chinese companies like ZTE Corporation,Huawei Technologies and Haier have become the most active ones among participants. The press conference over cooperation in 3G held by ZTE and France's Alcatel has attracted many reporters. The two companies will establish strategic partnership according to agreement they signed. In the light of the agreement, Alcatel will use 3G CDMA2000 base station system equipment made by ZTE Corporation around the world.
Furthermore, ZTE will also be able to imbed its CDMAwireless access combined devices into CDMA end-to-end solution platform of Alcatel. ...
