UNISK HOLDS 200,000 SUBSCRIBERS SINCE ESTABLISHMENT

AsiaInfo Services 03-04-2005 UNISK Holds 200,000 Subscribers Since Establishment BEIJING, Mar 04, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- UNISK Information Technology Co., Ltd., set up by South Korea's SK Telecom and China Unicom last February, has attracted more than 200,000 subscribers. SK Telecom has injected an investment of USD 6 million (USD 1 =CNY 8.27) in UNISK.

The company holds 49% stake in the venture,and the rest 51% stake is taken by China Unicom. SK Telecom had presented a wireless Internet service under the brand name of "U Jok-Bu-Rak" to tens of millions of CDMA users of China Unicom through UNISK in the middle of last March.
