AsiaInfo Services 03-09-2005 HP Takes Lead in China's Inkjet Printer Market in 2004 BEIJING, Mar 09, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- According to the latest report issued by IDC, the US HP took the leading position in the Chinese ink-jet market last year with a 30% market share. The report showed that 4.257 million ink-jets had been sold in the Chinese market last year, and 1.28 million were made by HP,a 21% year-on-year growth. An official from HP said strong performance of their products stemmed from HP's technology strength and brand edge in the ink-jet.
