AsiaInfo Services 03-15-2005 China Mobile to Expand 2G Network with USD7.8bn in 2005 BEIJING, Mar 15, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Chairman of China Mobile Wang Jianzhou recently said they plan to inject USD 7.8 billion (USD1 = CNY 8.27) in expansion of current (2G) mobile communications network this year, and the figure is 47% higher than budget. For 2006 and 2007, the company would pump USD 6.5 billion and USD 5.5 billion in the network, excluding investment in 3G business.
