Although the group is behind Nokia in global cellphone businessin the terms of sales, Motorola takes the top position in the world set-top box market.
In 2004, the group achieved sales of 34 million set-top boxes, amounting to 60% of the market shares, disclosed by a vice president of Motorola's Broadband Communications Sector (BCS).
