AsiaInfo Services 03-29-2005 Shanda Furthers Chongqing Business Expansion CHONGQING, Mar 29, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Shanda Interactive Entertainment Limited (NASDAQ: SNDA), China's largest online game operator, set up its Chongqing representative office on March 26, said Ling Hai, vice-president of the company. The establishment of the representative office is the most recent move by the company to further its business expansion, in the wake of the acquisition of a 19.5% stake in Sina Corporation, the top-ranking portal website in China. Over the coming years, Shanda will design and develop online games in accordance with various consumer tastes. Chess & cards games designed for Sichuan residents have been prevailing in the province.
