AsiaInfo Services 04-01-2005 China Unicom Announced 2004 Annual Results on March 24 BEIJING, Apr 01, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China Unicom (HKSE: 0762; NYSE: CHU), China's largest CDMA carrier, announced its 2004 annual results on March 24 this year. For the year 2004, its operating revenue reached CNY 79.33 billion, rising 17.3% from 2003.
Revenue from GSM business was CNY 47.47 billion, rising 15.3%. Revenue from the CDMA businesswas CNY 26.34 billion, rising 41.8%. Revenue from the long distance communications, data communications and Internet business was CNY 5.53 billion.
