AsiaInfo Services 04-08-2005 Detail for Netcom-PCCW Partnership Was Not Set BEIJING, Apr 08, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China Network Communications GroupCorporation (China Netcom) has signed a memorandum of understanding with PCCW Limited of Hong Kong, said Zhang Chunjiang, chairman of the second largest fixed-line phone operator in China. For the moment, the two parties are studying a plan for the partnership, and expect to announce it as soon as possible. As far as the partnership on overseas business are concerned, Zhang said Reach, an international bandwidth wholesaling joint venture between Telstra of Australia and PCCW, is likely to be involved.
