AsiaInfo Services 05-10-2005 Lenovo to Invest USD 200 mln to Improve Its Brand Recognition CHINA, May 10, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Lenovo Group has been the world's third PC manufacturer formally after the purchase of IBM's PC business on May 1. Lenovo will invest USD 200 million in advertising campaign and marketing to improve its brand recognition globally, said Fran O'Sullivan, senior vice president and chief operations officer (COO) of Lenovo who takes charge the overseas business. To enhance its new impression of international technology corporation, Lenovo has founded a series of control centers in US, Europe and Asia to deal with its businesses in 160 countries effectively.
