AsiaInfo Services 05-12-2005 China Unicom Forges Strategic Alliances with 20 SPs CHINA, May 12, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China Unicom has forged strategic alliances with 20 service providers (SPs), but ended agreementswith over 100 SPs in April. China Unicom, a mobile phone operator in the country, is integrating its business platform and information platform, andit will double efforts to integrate and manage SPs.
It has adopted a new management method towards SPs, that is the systemof eliminating the last ones, said the company's vice-presidentLi Zhengmao on May 10.
