AsiaInfo Services 05-17-2005 China Telecom to Develop Southeast Asia Business Based on HK BEIJING, May 17, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China Telecom, the largest telecom operator in China, plans to expand business to southeast Asia based on Hong Kong, revealed Leng Rongquan, vice president of the telecom group, on May 13. China Telecom opened branch in US as early as three years ago, founded company in Hong Kong, and also opened agency in Europe,said Leng Rongquan.
