AsiaInfo Services 06-16-2005 Motorola to Regain Chinese Mobile Phone Market CHINA, Jun 16, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Motorola, a global leading mobile phone manufacturer, plans to take several measures to regain the Chinese market from its rival Nokia, said David Taylor, director of strategic operations, Motorola. They have developed a series of products tailored to the Chinese market, in hope of regaining the market, said Mr.
Taylor at the CommunicAsia 2005. Motorola was surpassed by Nokia in terms of market share in thefirst quarter of this year in the Chinese mobile phone market, according to the statistics from Gartner.
