AsiaInfo Services 06-20-2005 Job Cut Rumor Has No Impact on China HP BEIJING, Jun 20, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Hewlett-Packard Company (HP) is likely to announce a job cut by 10% worldwide within the coming weeks, released some foreign sources.The job cut plan will lead to unemployment of 15,000 staff.

HP CEO Mark Hurd has claimed to cut jobs since he took office this April. The expense is expected to be USD 100 million.Officials from China HP said they have not received any relevant information from the headquarter so far. They declined to comment on the issue.
