AsiaInfo Services 07-26-2005 Intel Said to Stop Support for Small PC Makers BEIJING, Jul 26, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Intel has changed its plan of supporting small local computer companies, or government assisted PC programs (GAPP), in China, a PC maker disclosed.Besides, Intel China underlined importance of OEMs, and said it would mainly offer support to them, sources said.Chinese PC makers and industry insiders showed great opposition to GAPP when it was produced.
