AsiaInfo Services 08-01-2005 FedEx Guangzhou Center Set up for Asia Pacific Region GUANGZHOU, Aug 01, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- The world's leading express delivery company FedEx has set up a transshipment center for the business of Asia pacific region in Guangzhou.However, transshipment centers in Shanghai and Hong Kong created by rivals just cover eastern China or the whole country.Earlier, FedEx founded headquarters for China business in Shanghai, and its functions will not be weakened after Guangzhou transshipment center established, according to Eddy Chan, vice president for China region at FedEx.For the moment, FedEx is in talks with Shanghai Pudong international airport on increase of transportation volume, and it will make additional investment in Shanghai in...
