AsiaInfo Services 08-10-2005 4 Chinese Airways Bought 42 787 Jets from Boeing BEIJING, Aug 10, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Four Chinese airline companies has entered into an agreement with the US plane maker Boeing to buy 42 787 jets worth USD 5.04 billion (USD 1 = CNY 8.11).China's flag carrier Air China and China Eastern will each buy 15 planes, Shanghai Airlines will buy nine planes, and Xiamen Airline will buy three planes.
