AsiaInfo Services 08-26-2005 China Mobile Gains 3G Phone Number Range, Sources Say BEIJING, Aug 26, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China's Ministry of Information Industry has granted a 3G phone number range "159" to China Mobile, sources were quoted as saying.In accordance with earlier planning on phone number ranges, the Ministry has granted all number ranges preceded by "13".China Mobile owns nearly six sub-number ranges, including ranges from "134" to "138".
Moreover, the number range preceded by "139" is mainly held by the company.Meanwhile, China Unicom possesses four sub-number ranges, including ranges from "130" to "133".
