AsiaInfo Services 09-08-2005 China Increases QFII Investment Quota by USD6bn CHINA, Sep 08, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- The examination of USD 6 billion new investment quota for qualified foreign institutional investors (QFII) has started, and Hang Seng Bank has been the first QFII to win added investment quota from State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE). Hang Seng Bank said that its QFII investment quota increased from USD 50 million to USD 100 million after winning the quota. The case comes out like this.
