AsiaInfo Services 10-13-2005 Former UTStarcom Executive Said to Join Google China CHINA, Oct 13, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Johnny Chou, former president for UTStarcom China, is said to join Google as co-CEO for China operations. The new appointment will be made public recently, said people close to the matter on October 10. An insider of Google was notably reticent about the sources, but said the truth will be made known in recent days. Johnny Chou is likely to serve as co-CEO or co-President to work together with Kai-Fu Lee, president of Google China, added the insider. Rampant talks said as early as last month that Johnny Chou is to leave UTstarcom, and has contacted with Google. But reporters' efforts to reach Kai-Fu Lee for comment in late September...
