AsiaInfo Services 10-19-2005 BOC Launches Strategic Investment Plan with 4 Foreign Partners CHINA, Oct 19, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Bank of China (BOC) formally launched strategic investment arrangements with four foreign partners, revealed the bank's spokesman Wang Zhaowen on October 17. The four investors - the Royal Bank of Scotland Group, Temasek Holdings, UBS and Asian Development Bank, will take altogether 21.85% of the Chinese bank's stake for USD 6.775 billion. BOC is to cooperate with each of them in different aspects. For example, the bank is to cooperate with UBS in investment banking and securities businesses.
