Many leading telecom equipment manufacturers, such as Huawei, Lucent, Alcatel and Intel, are eager to get slices of the lucrative market. ZTE Corporation (SZSE: 000063; SEHK: 0763), China's largest listed telecommunications manufacturer and wireless solutions provider, is selected as the only company to offer IPTV equipment to Shaanxi Telecom, a subsidiary of China Telecom to launch the services.
