ZTE PROVIDES MONGOLIA'S FIRST COMMERCIAL NGN SYSTEM

AsiaInfo Services 10-28-2005 ZTE Provides Mongolia's First Commercial NGN System CHINA, Oct 28, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- ZTE Corporation (SZSE: 000063; SEHK: 0763) announced on October 25 that it has signed an agreement with Mongolia's Information & Communications Technology Authority (ICTA) to build the country's first commercial international NGN gateway. The gateway is designed to regulate Mongolia's IP international long distance market.
There are 12 IP operators in Mongolia, including the country's four largest operators MTC, Mobicom, Skytel and MTZ. The gateway office will also enable prepaid card services on the NGN infrastructure so that any subscribers within Mongolia's border can access international VOIP services. The project will soon...
