MOTOROLA, ERICSSON TOP INDUSTRY LEAGUE TABLE

AsiaInfo Services 10-31-2005 Motorola, Ericsson Top Industry League Table BEIJING, Oct 31, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Gartner Inc., a research and advisory firm, said on October 27 that two world mobile phone giants, Motorola and Ericsson have topped the industry league table in China. They have considerable market share in China's mobile phone technology market, and they are bound to dominate the country's high-speed wireless service market. Chinese government is expected to issue licenses of 3G mobile phone in the first half of next year, said Gartner. Sandy Shen, analyst of Gartner, said in a report that China is expected to be the largest market for wireless phones and mobile subscriptions.
