AsiaInfo Services 11-25-2005 Nike Changes Advertisement Agent for China BEIJING, Nov 25, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- To compete in the media war ahead of the Beijing Olympics, Nike has switched its advertising agency for China market to Wieden & Kennedy, an advertising agent also based in Oregon where Nike is headquartered. Wieden oversees the athletic-shoe maker's advertising in most other parts of the world. The move is the first time in 8 years for Nike to switch its advertising account. Before Wieden, Nike's China advertising business had been operated by WPP Group PLC's JWT since 1997.
