AsiaInfo Services 11-30-2005 Nokia to Promote Digital Broadcast Cellphone TV BEIJING, Nov 30, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Shanghai Oriental Pearl (Group) Co., Ltd. and Nokia showed up their cellphone TV in Shanghai and Beijing respectively, both adopting the digital broadcast mode. Nokia exhibited the new mobile phone terminal N92 in Beijing on November 25, which is able to watch digital broadcast TV programs.
Oriental Pearl showed the application of digital broadcast on mobile phones. The technologies are DVB-H and DMB respectively. They could send the programs from a point to users' cellphones. Nokia said it hoped the Chinese users to be able to watch live broadcast during the Beijing Olympics. It pointed out that digital broadcast could meet the demand...
