AsiaInfo Services 12-06-2005 Intel Chairman Craig Barrett Visits China BEIJING, Dec 06, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Craig Barrett, chairman of Intel Corp., the world's largest chipmaker, is expected to visit China on December 5. It will be Barrett's tenth visit to China. Barrett will attend the opening ceremony of its chip assembly and testing facility in Chengdu City of Sichuan Province, and participate in campaigns launched in Chengdu and Beijing. Meanwhile, he will be interviewed in the CCTV talk show program, Dialogue. At present, Intel faces AMD lawsuit for illegal behavior.

Moreover, it intends to roll out a series of new brands next year. Intel is optimistic about the future of the Chinese market. China currently has the third largest PC market...
