AsiaInfo Services 12-12-2005 Toyota Prius Scheduled to Hit Market on Dec. 15 SHANGHAI, Dec 12, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- The first Prius hybrid sedan in China market is going to roll off the production line on Decemer 15 in northeastern China's Changchun city, capital of Jilin Province, according to a car dealer. The dealer also revealed that Toyota will apply the hybrid power system in the GS-series models of Lexus from next spring. Toyota Motor and China FAW Group will cooperate to produce this hybrid Prius model, pursuant to the cooperation agreement they had reached last September.
