CHINA-MADE CAMRY TO RANK 1ST WITH SALES BY 2007

AsiaInfo Services 01-19-2006 China-made Camry to Rank 1st with Sales by 2007 GUANGZHOU, Jan 19, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Yuan Zhongrong, executive vice general manager for Guangzhou Toyota Motor Co., Ltd., said in Shanghai that China-made Camry would rack up in the Chinese medium-grade car segment. For the moment, localization rate of China-made Camry has reached 70%, which helps lower procurement costs.
Guangzhou Toyota plans to sell 50,000 to 60,000 Camry cars for the full year 2006 and to rank first with sales by 2007. China-made Camry is intended to attract successful people aged from 30 to 4 including senior white collars and senior government officials.
