AsiaInfo Services 02-07-2006 Siemens PG to Supply Compressors and Turbines to China XINJIANG, Feb 07, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Siemens Power Generation Group (Siemens PG), one of the leading companies in the international power plant services sector, plans to supply six compressors and three steam turbines to China. These machines will be built in China's largest olefin plant in Dushanzi, located in northwest China's Xinjiang Province. The production capacity of the facilities is about one million tons of ethylene and 500,000 tons of propylene annually, and these products will mainly be used as raw materials in the plastics industry. The plant, which is scheduled to commence in the second half year of 2008, is the largest of its kind in China at present....
