AsiaInfo Services 02-08-2006 Two Chinese Companies Obtain QUALCOMM's 3G Licenses BEIJING, Feb 08, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM) recently signed the 3G technology licensing agreements with three partners, including two Chinese companies, cell phone maker YulongComputer Technology Co., Ltd.

and Hong Kong-headquartered handset designer SIM Technology Group. According to the agreements, QUALCOMM will license Yulong for the development, manufacture and sale of 3G wireless devices worldwide, and it also grants SIM Tech a worldwide license under its CDMA patent portfolio to develop, manufacture and sell certain 3G (including WCDMA) modem card products.
