AsiaInfo Services 03-21-2006 Coca-Cola, Pepsi-Cola Raise Prices in Shanghai SHANGHAI, Mar 21, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- The beverage giants Coca-Cola and Pepsi-Cola raised the prices of their products in Shanghai amid mounting prices of raw materials including sugar and plastics. Coca-Cola increased the prices for three brands including Coca-Cola, Sprite and Fanta by an average 8% from March 19.

Dealers in Shanghai and Chengdu all confirmed the markup. The company has no nationwide unified prices. It runs 29 bottling companies in the country and has largely realized the localization of products.
