AsiaInfo Services 03-23-2006 CSC Subsidiary Signed CNY4bn Contract for Tankers WUHAN, Mar 23, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- CSC Nanjing Tanker Corporation, an oil and oil products shipping professional under the country's largest inland river shipping operator China Changjiang National Shipping (Group) Corporation, recently signed contracts for ten large-sized tankers with two subsidiaries under the nation's shipbuilding giant China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation. The ten contracted tankers include two VLCCs (very large crude carrier) with capacity of 300,000 tons and 8 ones with 50,000 tons, and the total costs for the ten tankers will reach CNY 4 billion.
