AsiaInfo Services 03-24-2006 China Unicom Saw Net Profit up 9% in 2005 BEIJING, Mar 24, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China Unicom, one of the major mobile carriers in the country, is expected to earn CNY 4.83 billion net profit in 2005, up 9% year on year, missing market consensus due to added business costs in the fourth quarter of last year, according to a report by Nomura International.
