AsiaInfo Services 03-24-2006 US Carlyle to Invest USD 25mn into Credit Orienwise SHENZHEN, Mar 24, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- The Carlyle Group, a global private equity firm, announced that it would invest USD 25 million to buy into Credit Orienwise Group Limited, China's leading private credit guarantor. US-based Carlyle will become another major foreign entity to pour money into the Chinese private guarantee company after Citigroup and the Asian Development Bank. The cooperation with foreign investors will not only ensure more financial support for Credit Orienwise but also accelerate the globalization of the Chinese company, pointed out Zhang Kaiyong, chairman with the Shenzhen-based company.
