AsiaInfo Services 04-07-2006 Amway China Formally Applies for Direct Selling License BEIJING, Apr 07, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- US-based Amway Corp., a world's leader in multilevel marketing, confirms that its subsidiary in China has formally applied to the Ministry of Commerce of China for a license of direct selling. Insiders at Amway China reveal that the company has over 7,000 outlets in near 2,000 counties and cities around China and the preparation for the direct selling has finished.
