AsiaInfo Services 04-17-2006 BP to Set Up Global Lubricant Production Base in China TAICANG, Apr 17, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- British Petroleum, a global leading energy company, plans to invest USD 22 million in the first stage of a global lubricating oil production base in Taicang, Jiangsu Province. Sources disclose that the base in Taicang will likely to become BP's No.1 industrial lubricant product base with the largest scale, highest efficiency, and most flexible production prescription around the world. At present, BP is selling two brands of lubricating oil in China.

A part of these products are made in the base in Guangdong and other plants and the remained are imported from BP's plants in Asia-Pacific Region, Europe, and the US. BP announces...
