MICROSOFT TO TAKE 30% OF CHINA MARKET WITH MSN SEARCH SERVICE

AsiaInfo Services 05-02-2006 Microsoft to Take 30% of China Market with MSN Search Service BEIJING, May 02, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Microsoft's MSN division is preparing for expanding search business in the Chinese market, and is set to snap 30% of the market there within one and a half year. The move indicates MSN will take place of Google to become the second largest search service provider in the country after Baidu.com. MSN China has been partnering with Yahoo! in search service, and Microsoft is expected to roll out MSN search service within four weeks.
