AsiaInfo Services 05-02-2006 Aluminum Corporation of China Again Raised Price of Alumina SHANGHAI, May 02, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- After respectively raising price of alumina last October and last December in China, Aluminum Corporation of China, which ranks first in the Chinese aluminum market, again raised price on April 28.
It is reported that Aluminum Corporation of China has raised its price of alumina by 8.7%, namely, CNY 5650 per ton. However, experts say that with the increasingly rising price of alumina in China and in other countries and rectification of electrolytic aluminum enterprises, alumina will not be priced much higher in the following years in China.
