GOLDMAN SACHS BUYS STAKE TO CONTROL HENAN SHUANGHUI

AsiaInfo Services 05-11-2006 Goldman Sachs Buys Stake to Control Henan Shuanghui HENAN, May 11, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- The world's leading investment bank Goldman Sachs buys the overall stake the second major shareholder has in Henan Shuanghui Investment and Development Co. for CNY 562 million, said an announcement by the latter company. In the future, Shineway Group will remain as the major shareholder of Shuanghui with 183.41625 million shares after the stake deal, which account for 35.72% of the total capital stock.
Hong Kong Rotary Vortex Limited will be the second-biggest shareholder with 128.38875 million shares, making up of a 25% stake. Henan Shuanghui further disclosed that Goldman Sachs Strategic Investments (Asia) and Shine respectively...
