AsiaInfo Services 05-26-2006 Disney to Explore China Online Game Market SHANGHAI, May 26, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Walt Disney Internet Group announced on May 24 that it had signed an agreement with Shanda Interactive Entertainment, China's leading interactive entertainment media company, under which it will market its entertainment content to the online game market in China via Shanda's online game operation platform. Headquartered in Shanghai, Shanda will be responsible for development, promotion and operation of a casual game based on Disney's characters. Different from traditional online games, it will target more diversified Chinese users, including young players and female players.
