AsiaInfo Services 05-30-2006 Bank of China Alters Domain Name BEIJING, May 30, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- According to China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Bank of China (BOC), China's second largest bank, will adopt the Chinese domain name boc.cn as its new primary domain since June 1. Up to now, 14 of China's 20 domestic banks have adopted Chinese domain name on its websites.

It has become a main stream in China's banking industry. However, its previous primary domain bank-of-china will not disappear immediately.
