CNPC, BP, PETRONAS TO BUY SHARES FROM ROSNEFT'S IPO

AsiaInfo Services 07-17-2006 CNPC, BP, Petronas to Buy Shares from Rosneft's IPO BEIJING, Jul 17, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Russia's oil major OAO Rosneft, but the subscriptionis not legally binding on CNPC, sources were quoted as saying. The other two share subscribers BP and Petroliam Nasional Berhad (Petronas) are also not legally binding, the sources further disclosed. Nevertheless, comments over the matter from the three companies are not available. OAO Rosneft will launch its first-time share offering in bourses of London and Moscow at the same time on July 14. It is estimated that the share price would range from USD 5.85 to USD 7.85, which helps the company raise at least USD 8.5 billion capital. The exact share price will be made clear then on...
