AsiaInfo Services 08-22-2006 China Mobile Surged in Subscriber in H1 BEIJING, Aug 22, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Up to June 30, the subscribers of China Mobile, the largest mobile communication carrier in China, had mounted to 274 million, according to the half-year report of 2006 of the mobile communication carrier. The report also revealed the volume of the newly-added subscribers of China Mobile in the first half of this year had hit 25.775 billion.
The volume of the average monthly growth had exceeded 4.29 million. Meanwhile, the revenues had also presented a strong growth to CNY 136.979 billion, surging 19.6% compared with the same period of last year.
