AsiaInfo Services 08-31-2006 Best Buy Gears down China Expansion BEIJING, Aug 31, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Robert A. Willet, CEO of Best Buy International, announced on behalf of the senior management that Best Buy will not purchase any other retailers of household appliances in China. Willett has made it clear that Best Buy has oriented the way of long-term "marathon development" instead of short-term "fast tempo", which suggests that Best Buy will gradually slow down its development in China. Willett has also pointed out that to find an appropriate way of operation is the most challenging problem Best Buy is confronting.
