AsiaInfo Services 10-25-2006 China Likely to Obtain All Natural Gas of Sakhalin-1 Project BEIJING, Oct 25, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Information from ExxonMobil confirms that the investment consortium of the Sakhalin-1 Project led by the America-based oil giant has reached a framework agreement with China's oil giant China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) on supply all the natural gas yield to Northeastern China. Insiders point out the agreement reflects the efforts of Japan for the natural gas supply have turned out to be failure.
