AsiaInfo Services 11-21-2006 Herbalife Wants to Obtain Direct Selling License BEIJING, Nov 21, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Gregory Probert, president and chief operating officer of Herbalife, said in Sanya, a famous coastal tourist city in Hainan province, that his company would try to win a direct selling license in China. Herbalife, one of the five direct selling giants in the world, formally entered China in 2005 and submitted the application for direct selling at the beginning of 2006. Gregory Probert expected that Herbalife could obtain the license and keep stable and long-term development in China. Percy Chin, senior vice president and managing director of Herbalife China, revealed that Herbalife applied direct selling license for over 10 provinces....
