AsiaInfo Services 11-21-2006 Shanda Grew Sharply in Q3 SHANGHAI, Nov 21, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Shanda Interactive Entertainment Limited (Shanda) (NASDAQ: SNDA), a leading interactive entertainment media company in Shanghai, reported 7.7% and 23.4% of like-for-like growth for net revenues and operating profits in the third quarterof this year, according to its financial report releasedon November 10. This is the third quarter for its growth after it turned several of its fee-based online games into free ones, which is sharply beyond the expectation of the Wall Street.
However, it is the first growth of the company's game business for the past three quarters. The report shows that Shanda had brought in CNY 409 million of revenues from its online games...
