AsiaInfo Services 11-28-2006 Xi'an Phoenix Signs Cooperation Agreement with Maverick SHAANXI, Nov 28, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Xi'an Phoenix signed a cooperation agreement with America-based Maverick to set up a global light-duty business jet aircraft production base. The base will produce Smart jets and Military jets firstly for export, planning to start first payment in 2009. Smart jets are double-engine light-duty business jet aircraft, owning five to six passenger seats and automotive driving cabin and with sales price at about USD900, 000. Xi'an Phoenix, a joint venture registered at Xi'an Yanliang National Aviation Hi-tech Industrial Base in October, is the first Chinese private aircraft-manufacturing firm to be approved by the General Administration...
