AsiaInfo Services 11-29-2006 Baidu Leads China's Search Engine Market in Q3 BEIJING, Nov 29, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- In the third quarter of this year, China's search engine market generated a total value of CNY 416 million, rising 10.67% over the same period of last year, according to a quarterly report by a leading local business information provider Analysys International. The value created by search engine websites reached USD 357 million, accounting for 85.81% of the entire search engine market, the report shows. Remarkably, Baidu, China's top indigenous search engine operator, led the whole domestic market in the third quarter, with revenues of CNY 237 million, exceeding the combined revenues from search engine operations of Google China and Yahoo!
