AsiaInfo Services 11-30-2006 CEA, Pratt & Whitney to Build Engine Maintenance Base BEIJING, Nov 30, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Pratt & Whitney, one of the largest engine producers in the world, announced on November 29 that the company would build an engine maintenance base in Shanghai with China Eastern Airlines (CEA), with a view to offering engine maintenance services to China Eastern Airlines and other customers. The 51-49 joint venture, with investment of USD 99.5 million, will adopt advanced management mode and repair 200-300 engines per year.
